How Scoring Works
Answer Scale
| Choice | Numeric Value |
|---|---|
| Strongly Disagree | -3 |
| Disagree | -2 |
| Slightly Disagree | -1 |
| Neutral | 0 |
| Slightly Agree | +1 |
| Agree | +2 |
| Strongly Agree | +3 |
Direction of Each Statement
Every question is tagged with:
- Axis – which dimension it belongs to.
- Direction – whether agreeing moves you toward the right-hand label or the left-hand label.
Calculation
- Your chosen value is centred around zero (so Neutral = 0).
- The centred value is multiplied by the question’s direction (+1 or -1).
- All adjusted values on an axis are summed.
- The sum is divided by the maximum possible positive or negative score to produce a percentage between 0 % and 100 %.
Interpreting Percentages
0 % means you align completely with the left-hand label, 100 % with the right-hand label, and 50 % is perfectly balanced.
